Tried to gain a PC shuttle to the lakes but, like most people, that didn’t work out for us. Connected with ViaVia last minute and they were able to make it work door-to-door from our hotel. We had a great day visiting Moraine and Louise with ample time at each place (which was awesome) and the driver, Simmi, was a treasure! She shared interesting info about the park and gave us great insight about what we might enjoy during our stay. Shout-out to Simmi on making our first trip so enjoyable. The van was small enough that we met wonderful people on our ride, too, so that was a bonus! Highly recommend.

A fantastic day trip! Dave drove us out early to Moraibe and gave us all we needed to know about viewing the sunrise. Great to be there early as the reflections in the still water were beautiful. A hot drink and blanket were provided too. After we went over to Lake Louise and had selected the extension time to explore the area. They recommend bringing snacks, and definitely do. We had plenty of time to view the lake without as many people there, being early, and then explored the trails up to Mirror Lake and Lake Agnes, then over to the Plain of 6 Glaciers. There are two tea houses that had been recommended and were great to rest and get a drink and something to eat. We took a leisurely pace back to the main area and dipped our feet in the cold water of the lake before the return trip. Our driver Scotty was so friendly and recognised the long day, but pointed out features along the route back which we couldn't see in the dark on the journey up that morning. Back to our hotel for a nap, shower then out for a well earned steak dinner. Highly recommend this trip and Via Via, they were excellent.
We had the BEST day! Even though it was an early start for sunrise at Moraine Lake, our 8yr old was a trooper and LOVED it! Highly recommend extending time at Lake Louise. We had time to hike to Mirror Lake, Lake Agnes Tea House, Little Beehive, the Lake Louise loop and have lunch on the patio at the Fairmont. Lake Louise is magical and this tour with extended stay was perfect for us. I ended up booking this travel company because I was confused as to how to get a parks pass and parking and whatnot - Via Via made our trip so much easier. Via via was the perfect choice for our excursions to Moraine Lake and Lake Louise. The customizability and convenience of the trip set them apart from other companies! We were able to spend 2 hours at moraine lake in the morning (which we spend canoeing, highly recommend) and 7 hours at lake Louise which was perfect for the lake Agnes tea house hike. Others in our initial group had different schedules, all which via via was accommodating. Not to mention they picked us up from where we’re staying and dropped us off. The guides were also fantastic. We did the sunrise tour with extended stay at Lake Louise. Everything was super well organized. Sure, it costs more than the Parks Canada shuttle, but you don’t have to worry about a thing – totally worth it. You get plenty of time at Moraine Lake to catch the sunrise, and the blankets and hot drinks are great for the cold. With the extended tour, we had more than enough time to do the Beehive hike. We'd book with Via Via again in a heartbeat – everything went smoothly and everyone was really friendly.
My sister and I were unable to book tickets through the parks Canada service during our visit. We were so thankful to be able to see both Moraine and Lake Louise with Via Via! They were excellent! Our driver Kai was informative and kind, plus drove well and was on time. We loved that this tour allowed 2 hours at each lake and you could also extend your time at Lake Louise if you wanted to hike farther. We would highly recommend using this local company!
We actually had booked a sunrise shuttle with a different company the day before and we ended up missing our shuttle by 8 minutes. We decided to try and catch the sunrise again but instead of having to drive from Harvie Heights all the way to Lake Louise at 3:00 AM, they picked us up from our Airbnb, so no excuses to miss this time. That alone sold me on going with ViaVia. Our tour guide Jake was awesome, so friendly and personable. He remembered things about all the other people we were traveling with. Via Via was the perfect way to experience Lake Louise! The van was early to pick us up both ways so we didn’t have to wait at all, and both drivers (Matt & Nick) were friendly, knowledgeable, and super adaptable with their advice. We were in Banff with our 5 month old baby and Via Via coordinated a car seat trade off so we could easily keep her safe & minimize how much stuff we had to tote at the lake - much appreciated! The 7am shuttle from Canmore allowed us to beat the crowds and have plenty of time for the Lake Agnes tea house hike (highly recommend). Absolutely seamless experience overall and a great day at Lake Louise.
