What will I learn?
While there isn’t a set curriculum, you’ll learn how to better understand exposure and composition for landscape photography. It will be tailored to your individual needs and skill. You’ll get expert local knowledge on the best photo spots and the opportunity to ask any burning questions you have there in the field.
What if I'm a beginner?
I’ll guide you through the basics of photography with a hands-on approach, helping you achieve your vision step by step. You’ll capture photos you’re proud of and eager to share with friends and family. You’ll also gain valuable skills to understand and control your camera, which you can continue to build on even after the workshop.
Which equipment should I bring?
- Bring your favourite camera – whether that’s your phone, or a DSLR
- Make sure its fully charged
- Make sure it has memory space to take plenty of shots
- If you have one, bring a tripod.
What should I wear?
Even in the heart of July and August, Sunrise temperatures at Moraine Lake can be below freezing.
- Layer up to stay warm including hat and gloves & waterproof Jacket
- Closed toe shoes for comfort and warmth
- Sunscreen
About Will Lambert
Will Lambert is professional outdoor lifestyle and adventure sports photographer based in Banff, Canada. Originally from the UK, he began working in the Leisure & Tourism industry, specifically, adventure holidays. This career took him to the French and Austrian Alps, and then to the Canada in 2016.
